MLC accepts a limited amount of clearly labelled sponsored content from engineering suppliers and their agencies. This page is the current rate card. Rates are current as of August 2026 and are reviewed quarterly as site traffic grows - the prices below hold for agreements signed while this page shows them.
The audience
MLC's traffic is 100% organic: Google, Bing and AI assistants. We buy no traffic. Google impressions grew more than 2,000% over the last four months and have compounded at 80%+ month on month over the last quarter, with Bing historically adding about the same again on top. MLC content is also cited by AI assistants: ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews currently cite MLC pages (1,600+ cited pages, verifiable in third-party SEO tools). Readers are UK engineers, maintenance teams and trade buyers looking up component specifications, standards and suppliers.

What is never for sale
- Edits or extensions to existing articles. Existing editorial is not for sale at any price.
- Paid reviews or product assessments.
- Sponsored pieces that rank a sponsor against named competitors.
- Followed links. Every commercial link on MLC carries rel="sponsored".
- Placement in our independent comparison articles. Products earn inclusion on merit, free, and no commercial arrangement changes that.
These rules are why MLC's pages rank and get cited - and that independence is exactly what makes placement alongside them worth paying for.

All commercial content is identified with an on-page "Sponsored" label and rel="sponsored" link attributes, in line with the CAP Code and Google's guidelines. MLC is operated by Defining Style Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 10572391.
How to book
Email info@mlc.org.uk with the format you want and the topic. We confirm scope within one working day. Payment is upfront by UK bank transfer, with a signed agreement for annual placements. Availability is genuinely limited: one sponsor per cluster, and sponsored articles are capped each month to protect the balance of independent editorial.
